An internship at Austin provides you with on-the-job experience with one of the nation’s leading construction companies. You’ll learn from industry experts, build transferrable skills, and prepare for your future.

To be eligible for an internship at Austin, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. college, university, or higher education program
  • Entering your junior or senior year
  • For Austin Bridge & Road, Austin Commercial, and Austin Industrial, you should be working toward a degree in one of these related fields: Construction, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering
  • For Accounting-based internships, you should be working toward a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Be available for placement from late May to early August (12 weeks)

NOTE: For students seeking a semester-long internship, we offer placements in the spring and fall semesters.

Internships at Austin are typically a 12-week summer exeprience and a prime opportunity for college students to begin developing their career. Summer placements run from June-August.
