Dallas Baptist University’s Jim and Sally Nation Hall academic facility was constructed by Austin Commercial, completed in fall 2015. The 23,000-square-foot facility houses the Gary Cook School of Leadership, and also include classrooms, meeting rooms, libraries, offices, a central hall for special events and garden areas for outdoor events.
Nation Hall was built as a replica of Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia home, Monticello, and keeps with the university’s tradition of colonial-style buildings and American history and patriotism across the campus.
The facility opened in time for the fall 2015 semester.
