Austin Commercial, in a joint venture with Power Construction and Ujamaa Construction, was awarded the joint-use ConRAC/parking facility and Airport Transit Station (ATS) extension at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. This project consolidated all rental car companies and added public parking spaces. The facility includes 4,365 ready/return spaces, multi-level quick turnaround areas, a customer service center, 2,200 public parking spaces, an ATS station, a vehicle bridge, and the ATS extension. The ATS provides a direct connection from the Level 1 Customer Service Center and the grade-level bus lobby to all four passenger terminals. The project also features a multi-level rental car Quick Turn Around (QTA) structure, modifications to Zemke Boulevard, and access ramps to Mannheim Road.
