DALLAS - Austin Industries is pleased to welcome Janya Kieffer as its new Chief Information Officer, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Janya is a collaborative IT leader, business partner, and solution visionary who excels at driving value through strategic and transformative business projects. She has extensive experience in the building material industry where she has fused supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, and sales objectives with technology solutions to drive strategic and operational value.

Janya comes to Austin with deep technology expertise in digitization, business intelligence, business applications, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms. She prides herself on being a change agent with a passion for learning and mentoring. Before joining Austin, she served as Vice President of Technology at Acme Brick, and in prior leadership roles with PrimeSource Building Products. She holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Texas State University.
