SAN ANTONIO - Austin Commercial was honored to receive the National Safety Excellence Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at the National Excellence in Construction Awards banquet on Mar. 16.

The ABC National Safety Excellence Award recognizes companies that exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Safety and Health Committee. Awards are based on data submitted via STEP applications, essay questions, and video interviews with company presidents, CEOs, and principals about their corporate safety culture. Award categories are based on a company's total work hours per year and placement within the North American Industry Classification System.

Austin Commercial was also recognized in ABC’s Top Performer category for the NSEA Award.
