FRISCO, TX - Austin Commercial is pleased to announce the groundbreaking on Oct. 28 of the HALL D1 project in Frisco, TX. The completed project will include more than 1,050,000 SF of total built space, making it the largest development in the history of HALL. The total square footage includes a 1M SF office tower, a 154-key hotel, 60 extended stay units, retail and dining space, indoor/outdoor amenity spaces, and a parking garage. The project will be designed by two longtime Austin partners, MAA and HKS.
Austin Commercial's long history with HALL dates back to 1999 with the construction of the A1 Building. This newest project will mark the 21st for Austin Commercial with HALL, totaling 4.5 million SF (including HALL D1). The $7B HALL D1 project will be the largest development in the history of the HALL group.
Craig Hall, the founder and chair of HALL Group, greeted the assembled crowd at the groundbreaking event on Oct. 28. The celebration hosted dignitaries, project partners, community leaders, and guests to commemorate the start of the 162-acre project at Gaylord Parkway and North Dallas Tollway, expected to be completed by Fall 2023.
