Austin Commercial has flown more than 1,800 missions using drone or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on our projects to improve visibility, track progress, reduce risk, and enhance quality.Austin Commercial was an early adopter of this technology, focused on understanding the potential value drone capture could provide to our project teams. After deployment, we watched internal demand increase rapidly and responded by hiring in-house pilots to increase capture frequency. We continue to stay at the forefront of this technology by challenging our hardware and software vendors to create construction-centered workflows and outputs. We currently leverage drone data for QAQC, developing processes that will enhance our execution and improve overall building performance.
