(DALLAS) Lone Star Constructors, a Joint Venture between Austin Bridge & Road and Fluor Heavy Civil, was conditionally awarded a design-build project in Dallas, TX, with an estimated value of more the $640 million.

Located in Carrollton and Farmers Branch on I-35E from I-635 to the Denton County line, it consists of the design and full reconstruction of 6.5 miles of managed lanes, general purpose lanes, and frontage roads along the heavily traveled corridor. The facility will widen the general purpose lanes from six to eight, the managed lanes from bi-directional to barrier-separated, and the frontage roads from four to six lanes.
